Brief biography:

My expertise contributes directly to the latest in industry innovation as well as to unique information security degree programmes.
I have developed professional Doctorate programmes in Information Security and Computer Forensics. Within these I stress the importance of education in order to arm and deliver the next generation of future experts to tackle our global security issues.
As a leading academic I and my colleagues are pioneering developments in frameworks for internationally recognised information security systems and digital forensics. I am consulted internationally on global information security issues. My biographical profile is included in the 25th Silver Anniversary Edition of Marquis Who’s Who in the World, 2008. In addition:

  • Currently directing the research of a number of PhD students particularly in the areas of Cybercrime profiling, security management, secure e-government, computer security and trust
  • Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Electronic Security and Digital Forensics published by Inderscience: www.inderscience.com/ijesdf
  • General chair of the annual International Conference on Global Security, Safety and Sustainability, (ICGS3):  www.icgs3.org
  • Co-Founder of the VoICE, Victims of the Internet Crime Europe, a non-for-profit organisation.
