Vision

UEL Multifaith Chaplaincy is here to ensure that the spiritual needs of students and staff of all faith traditions - and those with no tradition - are appropriately provided for.

We are committed to dialogue and building trust and understanding between faith communities.

We seek to assist in upholding a University community in which the spiritual dignity, gifts, potential and needs of all are respected.

We believe that differences should be celebrated as fundamental to the pursuit of truth, and explored with courteous and respectful honesty.

We believe that securely held beliefs provide a basis upon which people of different cultural and faith backgrounds can establish common ground.
