Spanish Post ITT Subject Knowledge Enhancement Courses

Good Modern Languages teachers are in short supply. In light of current curriculum proposals the required number of full–time equivalent secondary language teachers will rise significantly. The aim is to increase the number of language teachers and to raise the level at which they are able to teach Spanish.

Following the success of our pilot courses last year we are continuing to provide subject knowledge courses for existing and returning teachers. The course provides the opportunity for qualified teachers to expand into teaching another subject, or to improve their subject knowledge in an area they may already be teaching. The course would also be of benefit to qualified teachers returning to teaching.
