Brief biography
Ko Poon has worked as an Acting Deputy Head Teacher and Assistant Head Teacher as well as a leading mathematics teacher in Newham. He was responsible for the implementation of the National Numeracy Strategy in the school. He has also worked as a Mathematics, Assessment and Physical Education co-ordinator. He holds an athletics coaching qualification.

Areas of Interest/Summary of Expertise
Ko’s research interests are centred on the impact of Tai Chi on children’s well being. Ko Poon is currently undertaking a Doctorate in Education (EdD).
