Brief biography

I am a part-time Senior Lecturer on the Primary PGCE.    Before joining UEL, I taught in a variety of schools in Havering and surrounding areas.  I have held a number of posts, including ICT Leader, Literacy Leader, Creative Curriculum Leader, PE coordinator, NQT mentor and Senior Manager. I now use this knowledge to support Primary PGCE students in acheiving high quality outcomes for themselves and their pupils. I currently balance my time working for UEL with teaching part-time in school.

Activities and responsibilities

My main role on the Primary PGCE programme is that of ICT leader, as well as teaching on the mathematics programme.  As an ambassador of the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre, I am also responsible for delivering CEOP training to Primary PGCE students.  I have also delivered this training to mentors from partnership schools.  I am also Professional Tutor for trainees on school based training.
