Clare has worked in a social policy setting in Australia. After several years in main grade social work in Camden, she led mental health training in Hackney including for approved mental health social workers. She was appointed to the University of East London in 1998 to a post that includes work with UEL’s collaborative partner the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.
Human Growth and Development with baby and young child observation to qualifying social workers at undergraduate and post graduate levels; teaching practice educators in undergraduate and post graduate courses. Teaching eligible professionals on Best Interests Assessor: Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards qualifying and refresher courses
