I am Chris Tyrrell, Senior Lecturer in Education at the Cass School of Education and Communities. My main responsibilities are teaching, particularly PE and Mathematics on the PGCE Primary programme, as well as being Professional Tutor for trainees on their school based training. I am Module Leader for the mathematics component of the PG3500 module.

Prior to teaching at UEL I was a teacher, deputy and head teacher in Hounslow, Kingston-Upon-Thames and Somerset.

Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

I have a particular interest in curriculum development and the impact of health promotion initiatives in schools.
