Brief biography
I am a Senior Lecturer on the Primary PGCE programme. Before joining UEL I worked in primary schools in South London for almost twenty years. I worked in a variety of posts including; literacy subject leader, SENCO, acting deputy head teacher and reading recovery teacher. I have a BA (Hons) degree in History from Southampton University, a PGCE Primary from Goldsmith's College and an MA in Education from the Open University. The focus of my MA included Language and Literacy, The Child in the Social Context and Management in Education.
Activities and responsibilities
I am module leader for 3200 (Making Sure Every Child Matters) and teach on PG3500 (English).
I am responsible for mentor training.
