Brief biography

I obtained my PGCE at University of Leeds, and taught in First, Primary and Middle schools in Yorkshire and London. I worked for London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and London Borough of Newham on teacher recruitment and Early Professional Development, then at the London campus of University of Gloucestershire, teaching English and Professional Studies on the Primary PGCE and GTPs. I joined UEL in 2010.

Activities and responsibilities

I am subject leader for English on PG3500, Developing Understanding and Skills in English and Mathematics, Professional Tutor on the Primary PGCE and I carry out advisory visits and assessments on the Assessment Only route to Qualified Teacher Status.
