Working with school groups: a short professional development course

Do you visit schools or have schools visit you?

This innovative Continuing Professional Development one-day course is designed for Informal Educators; people who work with school groups who are not qualified teachers. Informal educators work in a wide range of settings from museums to parks, higher education to after-school clubs. This one day course is delivered by the Cass School of Education, University of East London in collaboration with colleagues from the informal education sector and is designed for everyone who works with school groups; giving tours, running workshops and delivering creative sessions with pupils.

Subjects include: behaviour management; session planning; and visit protocol.
