The CPD team and colleagues across the Cass School of Education and Communities offer a wide range of experience and expertise in needs analysis linked to institutional development, planning to meet development needs, action to meet development needs, and evaluation of new and ongoing initiatives.
We can lead, support or facilitate any part of the development process from analysis to evaluation. We focus on relevance to context. We can help to build capacity across institutions and alliances through the development of knowledge and skills needed for analysis, planning, development action and evaluation.

PL2M is a developmental approach to recognising professional learning that happens as part of your daily practice when it is near or at Masters level. This is not about awarding Masters level credit to people for simply doing their jobs. It does however recognise that often education professionals are thinking, acting and reflecting at Masters level in their day to day practice.
We will design personalised learning tasks that build upon and extend the learning that is already going on in such a way that you can use it to make a claim for credit if you want to enrol on a course leading to a postgraduate qualification. PL2M can also be used to recognise learning through a wide range of CPD activities and learning opportunities. It can work at individual, group or institutional level.
If you are interested in finding out more about PL2M please contact: maed@uel.ac.uk
We can provide a member of the CPD team to work alongside educators to build capacity for evaluation and research.
