Doctoral Degrees in Education

The Cass School of Education and Communities is an international centre of excellence for teacher education and professional development.  Located in Stratford, a diverse and metropolitan area and home to the 2012 Olympics, our tailored doctoral programmes enable you to draw on the research expertise of our academic staff, at least two of whom will serve on your supervisory team.  As well as enabling you to challenge established ideas and concepts, being a doctoral student allows you to develop your personal and professional skills to the highest levels. You will have access to a wide range of learning and study skills support at this academic school and also through our Graduate school, which offers specialist support, advice and guidance.  The Graduate School also offers advice on potential sources of funding.

We offer two types of doctoral degree – The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and the Doctor of Education (EdD)
