Cass School of Education and CommunitiesJohn Trushell has taught in both primary and secondary schools, worked as an educational researcher and currently lectures in the field of Linguistics in the Cass School of Education at the University of East London. He has previously researched the effects of interactive books on CD ROM on primary children’s reading, the effects of word processing on primary children’s writing and the use of adventure games in the primary literacy classroom. He is currently researching the effects of ICT-facilitated access to information on undergraduates’ behaviour.
John Trushell’s main interests are children’s literacy, ICT and popular culture.
