Ann joined UEL in 1992. Ann has led the mathematics team on the Primary PGCE, been the Admissions and Partnership tutor. Ann became PGCE Primary Programme Leader and Co-ordinator of Teacher Education in 1997. Ann was part of the development team for the original the MA for teachers and the Secondary PGCE mathematics programme. Prior to joining UEL, Ann taught in various schools. During this time Ann was an Acting Headteacher, a Deputy Headteacher, a co-ordinator for staff development, mathematics, music and ICT. She was Director of a company publishing mathematics books and running INSET for teachers from 1990-1992 and a consultant for the QCA. Ann’s first degree is in psychology. She has a Masters in Education Management and a Diploma in Drama in Education. Ann is a trained Ofsted Inspector of Primary schools and an Additional Inspector for Initial Teacher Training (mathematics).
