Following an extensive programme of refurbishment, our Stratford Campus provides impressive facilities located in the heart of Stratford, future home of the 2012 Olympic Games. Recent developments include new laboratories and computing facilities, and new buildings housing the Cass School of Education and Communities and the Centre for Clinical Education in Podiatry, Physiotherapy and Sports Science.
Stratford has a busy town centre, providing a large shopping mall, cafés, bars and restaurants, good leisure and culture facilities and excellent transport links.
Duncan House is home to the university’s HR Services, as well as the School of Law and Social Sciences. It is also within five to ten minute’s walk from Stratford Town Centre.
There is plenty of choice when it comes down to where to eat on the Stratford Campus.
The main Café is Le Café on the Green, in the Arthur Edwards Building. The café serves breakfast, lunch, light snacks and hot and cold drinks. Le Café on the Green stays open late during teaching weeks to serve students attending evening lectures.
The Buzz, in the Education Building serves breakfast, snacks, sandwiches and hot and cold drinks from Monday to Friday.
The University House Café Bar, located near the main entrance of the building, serves freshly ground speciality coffees, tempting cakes, pastries & sandwiches from 8.45 Monday to Friday.
The Duncan House Refectory is located in Duncan House to the right of the main entrance after the reception desk. The Refectory serves breakfast, light snacks, lunches and a full range of hot and cold drinks. More information
