Our Docklands campus was London's first new university campus to be built in over half a century. Opened by the new Mayor of London on his very first day in office in 2000, it has won acclaim for its iconic architecture and was short-listed for Building of the Year. Our Stratford site, meanwhile, with renovated historic buildings sat along modern purpose built-labs and centres of excellence, more than equals Docklands' reputation for cutting-edge facilities.
“The university has undergone a transformation in the past decade and now finds itself at the heart of London’s regeneration and drive towards the Olympics. . . . The pace of change at UEL shows no sign of abating.
“UEL is the embodiment of the modern university.*
