Executive Education

Our Executive Education programmes offer businesses the opportunity to work in partnership with experts within RDBS to meet their continuing professional development needs. We tailor programmes to suit individual or group requirements and our flexible approach to design and delivery enables study at RDBS or overseas. This flexibility is enhanced by our close links to other UEL Schools and our global academic partners.

Executive Education programmes consist of face to face and blended learning aswell as short course delivery.  RDBS can offer the following:

Risk Management

This programme is centred on those keen to pursue of further their career in risk management, the programme gives you the analytical and interpersonal skills you'll need to develop in the field. You'll learn the strategies you'll need to manage risk reduction, financing and management both within single and multiple organisations. You'll gain a sound theoretical understanding of risk management in the worlds of finance, enterprise and operations. You'll also learn how to apply that knowledge in real-world scenarios enabling you to judge risk, reduce its impact and manage its financial implication within a risk management role. Engaging in a learning programme that's truly transformational, giving you the knowledge and opportunities to succeed in a dynamic industry.

Finance Management

The programme has been designed for those who want to pursue a career in the financial services sector. You'll develop an understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of financial management and the skills you'll need to analyse complex situations in financial decision-making. You'll gain a critical awareness of financial securities, portfolio management and international accounting issues and enhance your knowledge of the risk-return trade-off. You'll also develop an understanding of the institutional issues that exist within the international financial system and look at how financial markets work across the world.

Healthcare management

This programme is aimed at those looking to develop their HR career or develop their people management skills, the programme has been designed to reflect the professional areas and HR behaviours identified by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) for effective HR practice through a programme tailored and designed of HR practitioners and people management specialists

Islamic Banking and Finance

The programme is designed to introduce and develop delegates understanding of Islamic banking and finance principles and applications. They are introductory courses emphasising on how Islamic banking and finance functions, the mechanisms applied in the different Islamic financial contracts and the instruments used in the Islamic equity and bond markets. The courses also give a comprehensive introduction to the risk management as applied to Islamic financial products and institutions

Project Management (PRINCE 2)

This programme is focussed on individuals who are  keen to pursue  or further enhance their career in project management, the programme gives you the organisational and analytical skills you'll need to develop in the field. You'll learn the principles and techniques you'll need to manage projects effectively and gain an awareness of the issues and approaches you can use to manage risks in a project and programme environment. You'll also explore the roles, responsibilities and skill sets involved in project-based work and look at how these relate to managing  people, projects and change effectively.

Short courses

Study tours: These can be tailored and customised for large groups in a variety of topics

Sports Management incorporating Mega Events: These consist of Face to face delivery with a certificated element and can be tailored to customised programmes.
