Advisory Board

The Royal Docks Business School’s Business Advisory Board is composed of business and management professionals drawn from the commercial, public and third sectors. Its members are selected for their interest in higher education, their knowledge of the business environment, and their willingness to devote time towards assisting the Royal Docks Business School.

The Board provides a business perspective on the effectiveness of our strategy, vision and future activities.

The Business Advisory Board plays an important role by advising us in the following areas:

  • Our course offer: Improving the relevance of our programmes and their curricula to the needs of business;
  • Employability and entrepreneurship: improving our work to ensure that our graduates and postgraduates meet the current and future needs of the business community;
  • Employer engagement: interacting with businesses to the benefit of the School, its students and businesses;
  • Executive education, consultancy and research: identifying opportunities for developing our capacity in these areas;
  • Our external relationships: improving our marketing and public relations with employers, professional bodies and policy makers.
