Brief biography

Dr. Zorlu Senyucel, Chartered MCIPD, is Leader in Learning and Teaching and a senior lecturer in the Human Resource Management Field at RDBS. Before joining UEL, Zorlu worked for several years in Manchester Metropolitan University where he completed his PhD in Business Information Technology Subject Group. Dr. Senyucel is research active and he has publications in various UK and international journals.

Activities and responsibilities

Designing, teaching and managing various postgraduate and undergraduate modules within Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour and Management subject areas.

As the Leader in Learning and Teaching at RDBS:

  • Contributing to the development and promotion of our University’s Academic Practice and Student Experience Strategy and associated policy.
  • Working towards promoting and supporting the development of best practice in Academic Practice (including distance and e-learning), and encouraging innovation and creativity within RDBS.
  • Advising and supporting colleagues regarding internal and external opportunities in Academic Practice, for example the UEL and National Teaching Fellowships Schemes and Learning Enhancement Opportunity (LEO) projects.
