Robin is a senior lecturer in management at the East London Business School. He has experience as a school teacher, in-service trainer and as a school inspector before he joined The University of East London. At UEL, as part of the Human Resource Management Field, he has a taught a broad range of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level (BA Business Studies, MBA, MSc, Postgraduate Diploma), including a number of 'corporate' programmes for external clients. He has taught the planning of research for business and management on a range of these programmes, in the UK, Germany and Portugal.

• Robin is currently researching into organisational culture in the secndary education sector. His particular interest is sub-cultures in schools determined by academic specialism and the implications of these sub-cultures for managers attempting to influence culture.
