Brief biography

Eric Boahen teaches Accounting at Royal Docks Business School, UEL. He initially trained as an Auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers and later joined Prudential Bank Limited as a Risk Manager. He is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). He gained his first degree in Accounting from the University of Ghana, Business School and MBA in financial management from the University of Hull. Later he obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from University of Greenwich and MSc in Business and Management Research from Henley Business School. Prior to joining UEL in 2009, he worked as a Senior Lecturer at Newham College of Further Education for six years. Eric is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and sits on different academic boards as an External Examiner.

  •        Module Leader for FE1010, FE3029 and FE3029
  •        Teaches on both postgraduate and undergraduate programmes.
  •        Supervises both postgraduate and undergraduate dissertations and projects respectively.
