Emma gained her Business Studies degree at UEL (when it was North East London Polytechnic) and then went into working in Marketing. Initially she worked on the agency side transferring later to work as a Marketing Manager for one of the leading beer companies at the time. Emma then spent a number of years working in consultancy on both the agency and client side. During this time she also gained her MA in Arts Management from City University. Emma joined UEL as a Marketing Lecturer in 2000. She is also a qualified Body Psychotherapist.
