Brief biography:

Baoying Lai obtained her PhD in Finance from Aston University, having previously achieved an Associate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education and an MSc in Financial Management & Control. Before joining UEL, she had several years teaching and research experience in Aston Business School. Baoying Lai’s research interests are specifically focused on foreign exchange rates and the pricing behaviour of international goods.
