Brief biography

Amir joined UEL in September 2004 while being in the final stages of his PhD in Accounting and Finance that he was awarded in 2005 by the University of Birmingham. He also holds an MSc in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University (USA). Currently, Amir holds the position of Senior Lecturer in Accounting at the Business School (Finance, Economics & Accounting Field) lecturing undergraduate and postgraduate students in Financial Reporting and Analysis and Research Methodology. His main research area is studying the usage of online corporate annual reports. Amir's work has been presented in a number of national and international conferences.
