Studying Sports Management at RDBS

With a long history of teaching business and management programmes matching industry-based learning with academic excellence, UEL's Royal Docks Business School gives you everything you will need to fast-track your career. You will be studying within one of London's most diverse business schools, based in the heart of the capital's Docklands - just a few miles from the 2012 Olympic site.

Aimed at science and sport science graduates or those with a background in business or management studies and keen to pursue a career in sports management, the programme makes full use of London's status as host of the 2012 Olympic Games and uses its links with national and international sport organisations. Participants will gain an understanding of the place of sport in the economy and society and relate business and management theories to sports activity. Students are encouraged to apply that knowledge to a range of complex sports management situations including researching a particular business or management issue within a sports organisation.

‌The Royal Docks Business School is recognised as a Skills Development Partner for the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA). The Institute was awarded a Royal Charter and launched in 2012 with the aim to develop a vibrant, nationwide sport and physical activity sector. Students enrolled on the MSc Sports Management programme will have access to CIMSPA's learning, qualification and seminar opportunities, as well as a gateway into membership of the Institute.
