Royal Docks Business School

About Royal Docks Business School

All societies benefit from ethical and efficient business activities and the Royal Docks Business School provides education, training, research, consultancy and other services which support these activities. We interpret ‘business’ very broadly including work in multinationals, in public services, voluntary and community work as well as within small, start-up and entrepreneurial enterprises.

Royal Docks Business School Building

We operate from a world class new Royal Docks Business School building in Docklands within sight of Canary Wharf and the City. Around us in East London is a vibrant multi-cultural and entrepreneurial community with whom we have extensive links. Our partners and advisors include members of that local community as well as senior executives of international businesses.

Our undergraduate degree programmes provide options in business, marketing, finance, economics, human resource management and accounting. Our postgraduate MBA, MA and MSc programmes cover a range of management functions including financial management, project management, risk management, marketing management and human resources management.

Our programmes are also accredited by a wide range of professional bodies including the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, ACCA (with maximum exemptions) the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the Association of Business Schools, ABS, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, CIPD (Graduate Membership) and in discussion with the Chartered Institute of Marketing regarding all levels of professional accreditation including study-centre status.

Our research work underpins our teaching with groups focussing on globalisation, theories of management, marketing, the management of human resources, finance, economics and banking, enterprise and entrepreneurship. We are also increasingly focusing on the key developments affecting our region such as the changes in employment conditions in the Thames Gateway area.

When you enrol with us you will learn about the structures and processes of business. You will also develop personal skills in communication and critical thinking and enhance your employability. The School regularly receives very positive feedback from its students about their experiences with us. In our new School we have an impressive library and large scale PC access available on site 24x7 for all students; truly a one-stop shop for high quality business learning.
