The following link provides full information - Personal Tutoring Requirements
At UEL we believe that successful personal tutoring comes from developing a mutually beneficial relationship between tutor and tutee. To build that relationship there should be clear roles and responsibilities on both sides.
Personal tutoring should be defined as group or individual guidance given to students by academic staff, with a focus on academic development and progression on their overall programme of study.
The key principles of personal tutoring are:
The Guidance for staff section outlines the role of the personal tutor and areas of responsibility. Also available to download is the Record of Personal Tuition Record Form.
The Guidance for students section outlines what we expect from students as part of the personal tutoring relationship.
