HEA National Teaching Fellowship

This scheme is run by the Higher Education Academy (The Academy) and recognises and rewards individual excellence in teaching in higher education. It is open to all staff involved in supporting the student learning experience in higher education in England and Northern Ireland.

Individual Awards

Academic Practice and Student Experience will be publicising the 2009 competition when applications open.

The individual awards aim to raise the profile of learning and teaching, recognise and celebrate individuals who make outstanding impact on the student learning experience and provide a national focus for institutional teaching and learning excellence.

Individual awards of £10,000 will be made to recognise individual excellence and the award may be used for Fellows' personal and/or professional development in teaching and learning aspects of pedagogy.

If you feel that you, or colleagues in your department, might like to apply then please contact our office soon as possible for an informal chat on taking an application forward.

Academic Practice and Student Experience is happy to assist you in the preparation of your application.
