| Overview | Blogs – or 'web logs' – are most commonly associated with Reflective Journals but have a wide number of applications in education. This staff development session will examine the potential uses of blogs in Higher Education and the experience of use at UEL in particular. Paricipants will consider the criteria for choosing certain web-based software and set up a blog using the chosen software and evaluate the potential of the blogging software incorporated within UEL Plus. This session will also demonstrate automatic subscription to a blog via e-mail or 'reader' software. |

This staff development session can be delivered as a standalone session for a small group (between 4-8 participants). If you are interested in arranging a standalone session for a team or department please email elearning@uel.ac.uk with details of the session(s) you are interested in.
