There is a rapid increase in the use of technologies to provide new ways of teaching at UEL. As the E-Learning Manager my focus is on understanding the needs and drivers for e-learning in Higher Education, making strategic choices through consultation and discussion and thereby enabling UEL to further develop, enhance and evolve our learning and teaching through the use of technology. I am an appropriate first point of contact for staff interested in developing or implementing new technologies for enhancing their Learning and Teaching for students both on and off campus.
I manage the E-Learning Team who are not only a conduit for academic school-based staff to suggest and showcase e-learning initiatives, but also responsible for a large array of staff development activities, sessions and projects.
