Dinaz’s role at UEL is primarily concerned with the promotion of Academic Integrity and the formulation and publication of advice and guidance on what the University expects in work submitted for assessment and on how we deal with academic misconduct. Dinaz manages all aspects of academic misconduct cases at UEL and meets with students who have offended more than once against our Academic Misconduct Regulations.
Dinaz is the Vice Chair of UEL's Academic Integrity Sub Committee and Chair of UEL's Responsible Officers Group and Turnitin Users Group and Clerk to Academic Misconduct Panels. Dinaz is also a member of the University’s Regulations Committee and Student Experience Committee.
Dinaz is also the Coordinator and Manager for the Student Peer Mentor Scheme
The Scheme matches 2nd and 3rd year student mentors to first year mentees so that mentors can offer support and encouragement during the first semester to help mentees make a smooth transition to Higher Education. For further information about the scheme please email peermentoring@uel.ac.uk
