Dallas Alexandrou is the Interim Operational Lead for Academic Practice and Learning Enhancement and as such, assumes overall responsibility for the Team, ensuring key priorities such as the new Learning and Teaching Strategy; the transfer to Moodle as our new Virtual Learning Environment; eSubmission, Marking and Feedback; the revised system for module evaluation; the introduction of Student Led Teaching Awards and academic integrity initiatives are delivered. Dallas also maintains a close relationship with all School and Service Leaders in Learning and Teaching to facilitate the development and implementation of learning and teaching practice across the institution.
Dallas is also the Manager for UEL’s Professional Standards Framework (PSF) which involves guiding and supporting colleagues in their applications to become Fellows or Associates of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) via our Continuing Professional Development Route. Dallas is also the Servicing Officer for the PSF Sub Committee and all PSF Panels and liaises with the HEA as necessary. Dallas is also an HEA Associate, with specific remit as an Accreditor for the UK Professional Standards Framework.
