Welcome to the latest edition of the Alumni Enewsletter. You will notice that the format of the enewsletters has changed. This month, we are bringing you a shorter bulletin of news items from the Alumni Network.
You can hear about our forthcoming events, notices which might be of interest to you and the latest volunteering and involvement opportunities. You can expect our next enewsletter in December which will update you on our progress with development plans and the Annual Fund.
I hope you will enjoy reading it. As always we look forward to receiving your stories, comments and suggestions.

Coming soon.:
It is with great sadness that we have to pass on the news of the untimely death of Tony Sinden on July 18th.
He died suddenly from a heart attack while swimming in Greece with Lulu.
Tony taught in Fine Art from 1985, where he was hugely influential in developing our reputation for time-based work. In 2003 he left to pursue his career as an artist. In addition to his solo work Tony worked closely with colleagues and other artists as a member of 'Housewatch', the projection-based artists group that he helped found in 1986.
Tony was an inspiring teacher and respected colleague, and a great friend to many of us, staff and students alike.

Could you talk to our Business School students about your masters studies and your experience of doing a postgraduate programme?
Possible dates are 20th October, 17th November, 8th December.
Please get in touch if this is of interest.
We are asking for students’ views on their UEL experience in terms of employability and curriculum. We will be holding confidential focus groups which will last about 1 ½ hours and there is no preparation necessary. We are hoping to hold this discussion group during November/December at a convenient time for all involved.
