The Development and Alumni Office can offer assistance to former students and staff wishing to get in touch with their classmates, colleagues or school staff. All you need to do is to complete an alumni network application form (if you are not already a member) and e mail it together with the name of the person you would like to contact, their course of study and year of graduation and any message to alumni@uel.ac.uk. In accordance with UK Data Protection legislation, we are unable to reveal any personal details to others, but If we possess a valid address, we will then forward your contact details to the last known address we have for your friend.
The Alumni Office can also post messages for lost class mates and colleagues directly onto the website. Trace a classmate.
You are entitled to receive a copy of our bi annual magazine for alumni featuring all the latest news from UEL as well as interesting alumni profiles and details of events. The current issue is out now - if you haven't received your copy, it might be due to us holding an incorrect address for you. Please contact the alumni office to give us your up to date address.

IMPORTANT: Old laminated Alumni Passport cards are no longer valid. Holders of these cards are advised to upgrade to a new swipe card at their earliest convenience, at a cost of only £5 + VAT for the swipe card.
If you have lost your certificate of award, we are able to produce a duplicate (upon receipt of a completed form and a fee of £30.00) for awards obtained since 1993 (and often a lot earlier, although this cannot be guaranteed). We can also produce duplicate transcripts for Undergraduate Degree Scheme students (from 1993/4 session). A fee may be charged for multiple copies.

The UEL visa card has received a tremendous welcome. The MBNA Bank was inundated with over 1100 enquiries in the first three months of its launch, their best response so far to a first announcement.
This is a no annual fee visa card with low interest rates. If you have not applied for your card, you can do so now by calling the freephone number 0800 776262, quoting reference number GK10.
A small number of applications for the visa card have been declined by the MBNA Bank, the card issuer, for a variety of reasons, but those who have been disappointed are advised to reapply when their circumstances change.
