Save 15% on Postgraduate Study at UEL
We offer an alumni discount to all past graduates who enrol on a full-time postgraduate programme within three years of successful completion of their undergraduate degree or PGCE at UEL.
The 15% discount will be deducted from your tuition fees after any Merit scholarships and before any early payment discount is applied. It can also be used in conjunction with other scholarships and funding. You don’t need to do anything to apply - just make it clear on your application form that you have previously studied at UEL and include your student ID number. We’ll do the rest.

Trace-a-Classmate with Free Message ForwardingThe Development and Alumni Office can offer assistance to former students and staff wishing to get in touch with their classmates, colleagues or school staff. All you need to do is to complete an alumni network application form (if you are not already a member) and e mail it together with the name of the person you would like to contact, their course of study and year of graduation and any message to alumni@uel.ac.uk.
In accordance with UK Data Protection legislation, we are unable to reveal any personal details to others, but If we possess a valid address, we will then forward your contact details to the last known address we have for your friend.
The Alumni Office can also post messages for lost class mates and colleagues directly onto the website. Trace a classmate.

Free subscription to Alumni Magazine and E News LetterYou are entitled to receive a copy of our bi annual magazine for alumni featuring all the latest news from UEL as well as interesting alumni profiles and details of events. The current issue is out now - if you haven't received your copy, it might be due to us holding an incorrect address for you. Please contact the alumni office to give us your up to date address. We also publish 4 e news letters a year so make sure your email address is up to date as well!

The Alumni Passport - Swipecard accessMembers of the Alumni Network can apply for an Alumni Passport card. This gives you the following benefits:
The card costs £15. This is a one off payment with no expiry date, payment can be made via credit/debit card or a cheque made payable to, 'UEL Development Trust'. We DO NOT accept cash payments.
For full instructions on how to get an Alumni Passport please, donwload an application form which you will then need to bring into the office with your payment, to collect your card (please note cards can only be issued between 10:00 - 12:30 and 13:30 - 16:00 on weekdays)
IMPORTANT: Due to a security upgrade at the University all card holders are required update their existing swipe cards.This is at no cost to you and is a very simple process. Next time you are at the Docklands campus, please report to the security office located on the ground floor of the East Building and inform them that you need to update your Alumni Network Card. All you need to do is show your existing card and they will produce an updated one for you.
All card holders who registered for their Alumni Network Card Prior to Tuesday 2nd August 2011 are required to update their cards.

Duplicate Certificates & Verification of AwardsIf you have lost your certificate of award, we are able to produce a duplicate (upon receipt of a completed form and a fee of £30.00) for awards obtained since 1993 (and often a lot earlier, although this cannot be guaranteed). We can also produce duplicate transcripts for Undergraduate Degree Scheme students (from 1993/4 session). A fee may be charged for multiple copies.
