East London Inventor's Club

"It isn't corporations that invent things, it is human beings, and our duty is to protect and nurture these people." David Nicholas MBE, Virtual Company scheme

Recognising the wealth of talent in the region, The East London Inventors Club has been set up as one of the first of a national network to support inventors and help them to develop their ideas into successful products. Members of the club have access to business advice, training and development funding, as well as design and prototyping facilities at the Thames Gateway Technology Centre, based at UEL's Docklands Campus, and the School of Computing and Technology based in Barking. It is planned that 'Virtual Companies' will be created to develop marketable inventions by bringing business people and manufacturers on board.

The East London Inventors Club holds monthly meetings at the UEL Docklands Campus. For more information, contact Toni Oxby at inventorsclub@knowledgedock.com
