A foundation degree at UEL will give you a qualification that combines academic study with work-based practical learning. Foundation degrees offer you a qualification that is designed specifically around your area of employment whilst providing transferable/general skills that can be used in any job. You will achieve a higher education/university level qualification whilst continuing your career progression, learning both academic and practical skills, usually work based environment.
A Foundation Degree gives you a university-level qualification. It is equivalent to the first two years of an undergraduate honours degree and in most cases it is possible to continue onto the final year of a related degree course at UEL, gaining a full honours degree qualification.
We ensure that our foundation degrees are accessible to all students, offering flexible and blended learning. You will also be given access to UEL’s facilities including 24/7 libraries, state-of-the-art facilities and teaching from lecturers that is contemporary, current and challenging.
