I completed an MA in Fine Art at the University of East London in 2008 and a BA Fine Art in Interdisciplinary Studies (including printed/constructed textiles and graphic design) at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD) in Halifax, Canada in 2000.
Since working at UEL I have been a key co-ordinator for the School's exhibitions and events including the Camera Constructs conference and workshops that explored the relationship between photography and architecture (2006), the AVA Drawing Festival (2007), and many external annual events including UEL's participation in Graduate Fashion Week. I was the chief curator for 'The Great Purpose' exhibition at the Art Pavilion in Mile End Park (2008), a large scale exhibition of selected artists, architects and designers including Richard Wilson and Faisal Abdu'Allah which explored landscape art and its relationship with identity. Between 2005-2011 I researched, co-edited and designed the AVA annual Showcase publication - a review document of the activities of the School of Architecture and the Visual Arts.
Since September 2011 I have been the School Projects and Events Manager for the School of Arts and Digital Industries.
Managing and supporting events for the School of Arts and Digital Industries including exhibitions in the AVA Gallery and at external venues, and recruitment events including Open Days and education fairs.
