I co-ordinate The Writing Centre, which is a site where writing issues are addressed and developed. Working with two other skilled tutors (fellows of The Royal Literary Fund) I empower students by providing guidance with all aspects of the creative and academic writing process: from drafting essays to addressing issues of grammar, from focusing research to structuring a dissertation.  One to one tuition, drop-in sessions, and guest lectures are all used to attract students and address their needs.  This proactive and affirmative ethos means that students overwhelmingly see a visit to the centre as adding value to their studies.

As a Dylexia Tutor, I empower students by giving them guidance in 1:1 sessions on their academic work.
