Brief biography

Lesley is an established programme leader in the area of Print / Surface Design and Printed Textile Design. She has worked as a freelance designer for over 24 years specialising in fashion print for the international market. She is currently completing the two year MA in Textile Futures at Central St Martins.

Current research and publications

Lesley is currently in her final year studying Textile Futures at Central St Martins College of Art and Design. Her research question explores daily print and pattern data and how this can translate into innovative surface/ print textiles for interiors. She is a member of the Fashion/Textiles research cluster "Pink Practice" and has participated and exhibited in the annual "Transient Praxis" symposiums held at UEL.
