Guy Harries is a music lecturer at UEL, teaching electronic music, music skills, improvisation and interactive sound. His research focuses on the performative aspects of live electronic sound. Guy works extensively as a composer/performer. His compositions have been performed by contemporary ensembles and have been broadcast and performed internationally. He is also an improviser (using flute, voice and electronics) and a singer- songwriter, practising electronic troubadourism with his laptop and voice. Guy is a core member of the Dutch electronic music group, the POW Ensemble. He has produced a number of multimedia works: Stereo Dogs, Nocturnaround, Jasser and Imaginary Friends. His work has been released on the labels Sub Rosa, X-OR and Tursa. www.guyharries.com
