Performance and Dance areas

Trinity Buoy Wharf

Trinity Buoy Wharf is a site for artistic and cultural activities located in London’s Docklands area, about one mile East of Canary Wharf.  The site provides UEL with its first dedicated dance space for teaching and learning, research and performance for its dance provision.

Facilities include a large dance studio space, a new dedicated classroom space, as well as office facilities.  By creating their own space, the students can experience dance education, training and rehearsals in a customized learning environment which will meet their needs as growing dance practitioners.

Stratford Circus

Stratford circus

Stratford Circus is the schools current base for the delivery of its practical performance modules.  A working arts centre at the heart of the Olympic development area in the London Borough of Stratford's new Cultural Quarter, it has three floors of outstanding facilities comprising a 314-seat auditorium, a 100-seat auditorium and a large, flexible rehearsal studio space. All spaces have sprung dance floors, and are fully adaptable for performance. UEL is one of many partners sharing the Stratford Circus spaces in a unique partnership-based model of venue management.
