The School of Architecture, Computing and Engineering is able to offer UEL students and the general public professional courses at affordable prices at a time to suit them. All professional courses are delivered by staff who are vendor certified in the qualification they are delivering.

Sun Academic Initiative  

ACE is a member of the Sun Academic Initiative

As a member of the Sun academic Initiative we can deliver training on Sun technologies to our students, faculty, and staff. The Sun Academic Initiative offers us access to free Web-based training and curricula, including courses in the latest Java and Solaris technologies.

ACE is a member of the Education to Careers (E2C) CompTIA’s Academy Programme

CompTIA certifications are fully embedded within the National Qualifications Framework, SQA &
FETAC and can be offered via the awarding bodies including – OCR, City & Guilds & Edexcel. As a programme member we get reduced exams for students taking CompTIA qualifications. Students benefit from sponsorship of awards/recognition programmes. CompTIA qualifications such as Linux+, A+, Security+ are widely recognised in industry and by employers.
