Brief biography

I am the Programme Leader for the BA Product Design Futures and BSc Product Design Courses. I have worked in both Design Industry and Design Education and use my experiences gained from a variety of Design led Industry backgrounds to influence teaching material and methods. My Job role ranges from the day to day running of the Product Design Programme, as well as acting link tutor for the BA Product Design Futures Course, Linton Legenda, Malaysia (Set up in September 2010), as well as Link tutor for the Barking and Dagenham College, 3-D Foundation Course. I am also involved with the recruitment and marketing of the Product Design Courses, as well as manage Collaborative Projects with International and Local Business, to assist students with experience and Professional development. Recent Collaborations with Business have resulted in Students exhibiting their work at External events throughout the UK and participating in research trips to Japan. I am about to undertake a Phd looking at Product Design process, history, development and education from a Japanese perspective to Influence and inspire process in the English Educatonal system.
