I have had a long-term relationship with UEL, from the days when I studied here and obtained my first degree in Computing and subsequent Masters degree, I later returned to become a member of the teaching staff. Since working at UEL I have held a range of positions and roles and taught on a number of programmes at a variety of levels. Previously devoting my time to the management and development of the range of modular postgraduate programmes offered under the heading of MSc Enterprise Computing, I am currently teaching and leading modules on the MSc IT programme. I have seen a number of favourable developments over the years to benefit students, such as the introduction of UELPlus which has been used to accompany modules and provide the students with online access to a wealth of material. In industry I have held roles such as Systems Analyst/Programmer, Database Administrator and look forward to passing my knowledge and expertise onto students to pursue equally rewarding positions in their future careers.
