Brief biography

Hwei Fan Liang has been tutoring at UEL since 2006. Over the past five years with Christian Groothuizen, and now leading a design unit with Claude St Arroman.

Hwei Fan is a qualified architect and member of the RIBA, and studied at Cambridge, UEL and Kingston before going on to work in architectural practice in London.

Areas of Interest/Summary of Expertise

Potential for architecture to address issues of ecology, relationship to nature, and natural and infrastructural processes. Interests in representation and analogue processes, and the relationships between photography, film and architecture.
