Originally, Christoph Hadrys was trained as a carpenter in Germany. He studied architecture and urban design at the University of East London (UEL), TVB School of Habitat Studies in New Delhi/India and the MSc City Design and Social Science at the London School of Economics. He was co-founder of Hadrys-Kyrein Planungsgemeinschaft in Berlin. Together with Verena Kyrein, he won the Schinkel Prize in Urban Design and the Europan 7 competition in Augsburg/Germany. Currently, Christoph Hadrys is Senior Lecturer at the School of Architecture and the Visual Arts (AVA) at the University of East London, where he is Programme Leader of the MA Urban Design.
