According to EU Bologna Accords stipulating the creation of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) by making academic degree standards and quality assurance standards more comparable and compatible throughout Europe,  this 5 years of studies is equivalent to a combined Master & Bachelor's degree (BSc/B.Eng & M.Sc or M.Eng).

The five year course concludes with a comprehensive set of specializing exams (examen de diploma). Marks 9 or 10 are considered exceptional.

Analysis of the Stability & Dynamic Coefficients of high speed externally pressurized journal gas bearings.

Investigation into the possibility of using Eddie currents for non contact damping of high frequency mechanical vibrations and the development of an adaptive dynamic electro-magnetic damper.

Theoretical and practical possibilities of generating non-evolventic profiles.

Applications of the theory of constraints and decision theory to business / financial decisions for small medium size UK companies.

  • Proposed, designed and structured a new BEng Course in “Recycling Engineering and Waste Management” for the University of East London in collaboration with industrial partners and sponsors. The course was approved and will start enrolling students from 2012 (or more realistically from 2013).
  • Proposed, designed, and structured a new MSc Course in “Computational Engineering Mathematics” for the University of East London. The course is in the final assessment stage for the academic approval.
