Strategy and Membership

The main aim is to assist the Group in mobilising support from the industry, in obtaining government support and in gaining national and international recognition for research in the following main areas:

To investigate and propose new design concepts and methodologies for the utilisation of composite materials in engineering structures.

To investigate the mechanical response of different FRP structures to typical in-service loading and environmental conditions, with an emphasis on the damage processes in fibres and composite products.

To assist organisations around the world to improve the quality of their processes while managing their bottom lines, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).
