Here at UEL, we’ve almost doubled our output of world-leading research in the past six years, according to a massive peer review of research at universities in England.
Around 17 per cent of the research UEL submitted to the 2-14 Research Excellence Framework was classified as world-leading, the assessment’s highest possible rating, with a further 45 per cent classified as ‘internationally excellent’.
We are a vibrant university with a vision to bring transformational academic and enterprising opportunities to those in our region. We seek to do this through diversity, partnership and excellence in teaching and research. We’ve been educating individuals since 1898 and we are now one of the most diverse universities in the UK, with more than 120 nationalities represented on our campus.
