I am currently working for the internationally prestigous healthcare practice, RTKL, as a hospital designer and Part II architect. In 2003, I returned to university as a part time masters student in architecture at UEL which I completed in 2004. I continue to work in all aspects of the design of hospitals within the UK and abroad. My main area of expertise is master, departmental and room planning for complex hospital projects. I have been involved in all stages of the PFI process including close liaison with hospital trusts, users and other consortium representatives.
Building on my recent studies and using the experience of my current design position, I have decided to return to UEL to study the impacts of hospital design on the wider environment and on the wellbeing of communties. I am jointly supervised by Dr Susannah Hagan (Architecture and the Visual Arts) and Professor Adrian Renton (IHHD) .
